Another cut, bleeding my tears
That I refuse to cry
The weakness and my fears
Oozing out and sliding by

Dripping to the floor
Soft red marks turn to a tiny lake
Lying there, I want more
I must cure this painful ache

In goes my blade again
Swift and strong, the kiss
Of my blade and the delicate pain
A feeling I always miss

The cut, the cut looks so slight
But when I pull apart the seems
It has gone so deep, I did it right
One of many silent screams

Do not interrupt me as I cry this way
Don't come between me and my blade
These blood red tears … forever to stay?
A part of my life? But oh, the price to be paid …

Every last scar lingers
Never fading, always there
This blade between my fingers
Leaves reminders everywhere …

Even if I escape this place of hell …
I will always be reminded of the agony
These scars, they have so many stories to tell,
These scars, will always be a part of me.
