I could not sleep again
Haunted by the memories
Whenever I close my eyes
Your face I always see;

Your innocent 8 year old face
From the last time i saw you
Before your dad went crazy
-I remember what he tried to do

No matter how much pain u were in
You always tried to stop him
Especially from hitting Karlie and Steven
Nevertheless your efforts were pointless

It is my fault for what happened
On that horrible horrible night
I told you to come on over
while your parents had their fight

So you snuck out
and stayed for many hours
When you tried to sneak back in
Your dad hit you with alot of power

Once he started he did not stop
Like he usually did
He almost killed you
Though you were his own kid
