each day and night without you
i struggle to carry on
i miss you so much please come back to me
i'm slowly dying for your love can't you see?

What kind of heart you have
to treat me like this?
where's your compassion and all your promises?
have i ever hurt you in any way?
would you ever come back to me some day?

All the promises i made to you the night we met
are still in my heart don't ever forget
though your love has ended mine still remain
i miss you so much it's driving me insane.

I don't think you will ever comprehend
all you had in me as your best friend
all the promises you made to me just fell like dry leaves
blown away to infinity
by the turbulent breeze.

but forever in my heart there's a special place
and no one but you can ever occupy that space
on my knees each night i will pray
that god will lead you back to me one day.
