I have faltered and i failed
for your precious love i could not prevail
my world has crumbled around me today
as you tell me you no longer love me and walk away.

I once was like an important substance in your life
always trying to lift you up when you're down from strife
but you walk away leaving me with a shattered soul
never again will i ever be whole.

Now i bear the shame of your scoffing so rude
you condemned me for falling in love with you
my fate was sealed by tears of blood
falling from my eyes to my feet in a flood.

Though i had many conflicts big and small
i was never discouraged from giving you my all
i'm thankful for the times together we once spend
it's memories will be my comfort till my journey ends.

When the many had hurt you and your friendship they had denied
i was the only one who stood by your side
comforting you and wiping the tears from your eyes
and bear your pains and hurtful pride..
