The Hunted

By Jeanne M. Moore

I am the hunter not the hunted
I am the one who stalks the prey
not the one who has to run
I should be the one who kills
not the one to be killed
I am the one who everyone fears
not to be the one who fears

I am the hunter not the hunted
I am the one stays in the open
not the one to hide in the shadows

I am the hunter not the hunted
I am the one, who is danger
not the one who is in danger
I am the one who has no fears
not the one with fear.

I am the hunter not the hunted.
So why do I still get hunted?
(This poem is dedicated to Save the Wolves foundation)
