RESTLESS

By Catherine A. Beban

Fog gathered
over mountains
to softly touch
the seas' beckonings,
as a soft sun lay suit
over each;
Performing such brilliance
to yet escape in,
as a grey fog invaded,
swallowing the beauty
as though it
were not there;
while rounding the road
the sun peered
Hazily out,
Laughing
