I look at you from across the room
I try to catch your eye
I must have smiled a thousand times
But you just walk on by...

All the things I say and do
To get into your heart
I should have known you would never care
I could tell right from the start.

It seems like I try so hard
But now I don't know what to do
I can't find someone else who cares
Because I care too much for you.
