Love Lost

By smiling altar boy

The first time I sighted her
Creation froze with the triumph of love
Never before were my eyes emblazened with such beauty
For words alone were at lost to trace
Tis this delicate moonchild she be
Nurtured by nature's heart
And in those frozen moments won
Vision feasted on my mind
Of us locked in an unending waltz
Dancing to midsummer lands
She speaks as words graces her lips
Her whisper, like the wind through the cedars
Even when wild winds sing in chora for her
That we'd be together again...
