Nothing's changed- are you so sure?
Nothing's normal anymore.
I can't distinguish what I feel.
Day to day I'm swept away.
Fun memories just seem to fade.
Where's the laughter and the magic?

When I close my eyes it's a blur of cutting words.
I can't explain it.
But I can feel.
I can see.
I'm so numb, the tears won't come.
But when it's over they'll flood my eyes.
For you, sweet one, I know I'll cry.

I'm fighting nightmares in my mind.
The rush is gone.
The feeling has faded.
I've pleaded with my heart- but it knows.
And in my soul I feel it.

I feel it in my bones.
The achy feeling.
A heavy heart.
...You and I have grown apart.
