I came across some people
As I was walking down the street
From the looks of their tattered clothes
They were people in desperate need

The voice inside my head
(The one that is no good)
Said to me, wickedly
"Just ignore them, I would"

Doubt swept across my mind
And for a moment I could not decide
What I did next I regret to this day
I turned around and walked away

I bid of you reader
Don't do as I did
In your moments of doubt
Don't let darkness win
You don't have to listen to that voice
You don't have to, you have a choice
