Imperfect

By Yami

The rain is falling
Laughter fills the air
Children are smiling
Seems they don't have a care.

Life is perfect
No danger or crime
Prisoners have learned
They have done their time

So lets throw up our hands
And be glad life is great
No pain and no suffering
is our deepest fate

But to be like Jesus
shouldn't we feel pain
He died for us
To give us a gain

It doesn't seem fair
and it doesn't seem right
But to be compassionate
We must see the light

No one is inferior
We are all just the same
We all have one God
And his son to us came

So let us give thanks
For our imperfect lands
We can all get together
And give others a hand.
