Build your society around your friends
The two or three you keep real close
To find more value and make amends
With yourself that dwells within
Cause maybe people lead to anger
Which finds a way to steal your dreams
To replace them all with nightmares
That leave you swimming in crowds;
Of selfish people in forms of demons
Who continue to hide your sun in clouds
And completely coat all of your feelings
But the two or three that you keep real close
Will proceed to shine right on through;
All of hell and lonley nights
While all the rest are hidden in clouds
And locked in boxes throughout your mind
