America

By Kincaid

(I wrote this peom at age 8 on September 11, 2001)

It is sad for this war to start,
And it is sure to break many a heart,
But America is like an unbreakable wall,
And NOTHING can stop Americans from standing tall.
The Twin Towers, once tall and prowd, cam crashing down, very loud. To warn every American to wake UP! The brave firemen helped to keep America's stars, so we should start moving and not wander far...We shouldn't be scared and drive away in our cars. And when this war is over, bells will be ringing and people will be singing. Stand tall for America, and thank God for our nation.
