Where blocks are long and covered with street whores and drug lords.
Are the ingredients of, Hard Knots.
Teenage moms and runaway dads,
that has yet to learn to think with the right head.
Are the ingredients of, Hard Knots.
Holes in the walls and rats dancing on floors,
as the rain drops in doors.
Are the ingredients of, Hard Knots.
Now praying as you keep on keeping on,
as you hit them books and pull them grades.
That paved your way to that path of new beginnings and higher grounds.
Where the next door neighbor is a doctor or lawyer
and there's no drug lords sharing corners with street whores.
Rainy storms stays out doors as the rats gets full, outside in the trash.
Is the flavor of a well done entree!
