Why do you love him mom all he ever dose is lie,
And if he really loved you why'd he give you that black eye.
Why do you love him mom I just don't understand,
You love him with your heart he hits you with his hand.
Why do you love him mom I really want to know,
How can you love someone that treats you like their ho.
I remember the night I did not sleep I stayed awake in bed,
I heard every time he hit you and every word he said.
Why do you love him mom why don't we just leave,
Things would be so much better I really do believe.
Why do you love him mom we should just runaway,
Things will get better soon but that what you always say.
Why do you love him mom it hurts me so inside,
It hurts so bad that when he comes home I have to run and hide.
Why do you love him mom please just tell me why,
I think that we should leave him I don't want you to die.
