It means so much more,
When a friend smiles,
You know what you’re for.

When a friend holds you’re hand,
You know they care,
When a friend listens,
You know their there.

When a friend shows you love,
You know they mean it,
When a friend shares their life,
You know they never split.

When a friend tells you secrets,
You know they don’t hide,
When a friend says ‘trust me’,
You know they’ve never lied,

When a friend laughs with you,
You know they feel right,
When a friend not ashamed to be with you,
You know they hold you when in fright,

When a friend tells you ‘I’m here’,
You know they mean their here,
When a friend wave from across the room,
You know there’s nothing to fear,

When a friend says ‘good bye’,
You know they’ll be back,
When they don’t come home,
Then you know that’s what you lack.
