I love you so much
and you're my best friend
I can't stand to see you hurt
why won't you just let it end

I wish I could make you stay away from him
he's always making you cry
you've gotten back together so many times
I just don't know why

he hits you all the time
he's never treated you right
I don't get why you keep taking him back
when all you do is fight

you say that you love him
and I know that it's true
but how can you let him treat you this way
so much pain he's put you through

I can't take this anymore
and you always come crying to me
but you just let him do it
all I want is for you to be happy

you've been together for three years
it seems like forever though
why you stay with him
I really don't know

I know you'll always love him
but I wish you would tell him goodbye
so he can't hurt you anymore
and so he can't make you cry
