Plane Of Death
By Stace
You're probably yelling at me
from the ground below
you're probably cursing at me
from the solid earth
i can see you from here
as you grab your hair and begin to pull
i watch you as you began to tear up
as the plane of death lifts into the air
i sign as you began to hit the dirt with your strong arms and hands
i look away as you stare up into the sky
your eyes lift up to the heavens
as i wave a good-bye
i won't forget you
that's a promise i won't forget
of all the things you ever did
none of them had hurt as much
but when you slapped me for her
it was like the world had turn cold
the earth began to rumble
as the stars squeezed into sight
i could hear the light patter of the rain as the sky began to cry
i ran away from you
ashamed that i could do such thing
so horrible that would cause you to turn your back on me
my heart began to tear
cracks began to appear
as it broke into two
i cried in pain
because as i stood in the rain
no one could hear the silent tearing of my soul
and no one could see
the silents tears that fell from my eyes
again my mind comes into view
remembering that I'm on a plane
the plane of death
today this plane was my friend
because it was going to take me away to a place where i would never feel pain
i thank for the slap
because without it
i wouldn't had realize my blindness
my heart couldn't accept back then
but now its different
the plane begins to die in the air
and as the plane's wing breaks away
i close my eyes ready for death
