Theres a light across the field
that a cant find
i know its there
i see it, its in my mind

i try to run to it
i try to run to the light
i try to find it
i try but get loss in the night

theres a light across the field
i know its there
along with a person
a person who really cares

across the field
this person waits
waits for me
to take me to my fate

across to field
where this person stays
this person i follow
out of the night and into the day
