I Love You Mommy
Mommy, I'm very excited,because I'm almost three.
I am so thankful that you're always there for me.
Since I've been born you've taught me a lot.
You taught me that being good is better than not.
I'm so happy that God gave me to you,
Cause you're the best Mommy and I love you too.
I'm such a big girl now, that's what you said,
I'm using the potty and sleeping in my own bed.
And when I go up Nana's steps, I can count to ten.
And a few times, I fell down eight of them.
You found me a sitter that is very good to me,
And when I can't be with you and Dad or Nana
That's where I'd rather be.
I like watching Veggie Tales, Barney, Wiggles and Pooh,
But they're the most fun when I watch them with you.
I went to see the Dentist twice,
But I didn't like him even though he was nice.
I can say lots of sentences now,
I can Bark like a Dog and Moo like a Cow.
I can tell you what I want to eat. I want pizza today.
And where I want to go. You know I always say,
I want to go to Nana's house, Please Mommy.
You helped me learn to walk and do things on my own.
I learned how to come down the steps,
I can slide on my tummy all alone.
I know Mommy that sometimes I make a mess,
But I always try to be my very best.
So Mommy, please keep teaching me what I need to know
And I'll keep learning as older I grow.
If you loose patience with me and don't know what to do.
Just ask God for guidance and He'll be there for you.
