Bright Eyes

By Al L. Myers

Her eyes sparkle bright
with clear crystal blue,

Like a brilliant diamond
all shiny and new,

Her locks are like silk
like angels hair,

flowing over her shoulders,
her skin so fair,

Her face so pretty
her smile so sweet,

Her hugs I just want to
wrap up and keep,

Her dreams are so vivid,
so bright and so clear,

I want to be part of
all that she's near,

I need her love
like a person needs water,

I guess that it's so
because she's my daughter.
