Everyone remembers the cases of biological weapon attack in 2001. Terrorists used the spores of anthrax that had their deadly results. The cause of the malady is spores that come from various sources. To get a closer look onto the problem, we might name the symptoms and ways of infection. It may be transmitted to humans that stay in a close contact to these animals or interact with animal body parts (butchers). This makes the anthrax the one of the most wide spread disease in the world, for in every state there are men that are involved in the industries that work with animals. The commonly territories occupied by virus are South and Central America, South and Eastern Asia, Africa and several countries of the Middle East. There are several ways to get a anthrax and the symptoms are going to show in a couple of days, maybe a week.

The first way to get anthrax is by contact with an animal by skin. The skin looses moisture and flexibility and a bump that looks like an insect bite appears. Then it develops into the ulcer that may look like a light skin disease, but when the black inside of the bump show up, this is a call that a person may be infected by anthrax. The patient should receive medication and treatment immediately and if not, the lethal case is guaranteed. Other symptoms of disease may show if a person inhales the spores. First symptoms look like that influenza has but then after the development of the infection a patient may have difficulties with breathing and occasionally have respiratory shocks with same symptoms as epilepsy has. If the malady is not treated the lethal case will follow. Intestinal anthrax has other symptoms like indigestion and other stomach problems.

But the result is the same if it is not defined and cured on time. The only way to prevent this disease is vaccination. This malady is classified as extremely dangerous and highly infectious. The vaccine was introduced in the USA and was released in the 70's when it appeared in drug stores. Some professionals working in the industry that involve animal contact get their vaccination frequently and regularly. One of the tasks of the UN is to introduce this vaccine to the regions where people suffer from it the most severe way. Americans will not forget the terrorist acts in 2001 that put thousands of lives to danger and alerted the entire world but if a danger of biological weapon attack appears, we already know that vaccination is a good shield.
