Many people who get into MLM or Multi Level Marketing programs ask if this is so good why don't more people do it? Well, many people do actually sign up, but there are also many reasons why they do not too. So why are people reluctant to sign up for MLM Programs anyway?
The same reason you are or if you are into MLM now, the same reasons you were skeptical before you signed up. Perhaps they have been previously burned by an MLM or felt as if they were lied to during a presentation, or perhaps they figured that it was some sort of pyramid scam, because they did not understand the marketing plan? One MLM executive told me that some 30% of all Americans, have tried one or more MLM companies in their life time. Multi level marketing companies actually move a lot of volume and have some massive amounts of sales. I bet UPS loves them.
Some say that all MLMs resemble a scam or pyramid scheme. But before we go and crucify a business model. Look at the US government structure. You have the Federal Government that are over the states. The states over the Counties, the counties over the cities and the cities seem to be over us. How many levels are in that down line? 5-levels. So, perhaps we should not be so judgmental of MLMs and rather study their methodology and theories better. Think on this in 2006.
