Many people have heard the MLM sales pitch or over heard one and indeed it is rather intriguing isn't it? Well yes it is and it gets the curiosity of the best of us I assume. But how does it work? And you are wondering of course if you sign up, how do you get paid?

Some people ask will I ever get paid? Who pays me, how much do I make? Do I receive a percentage of the sales is that how it works? Yes and it would be a trickle percentage, so until you develop your down line it would be peanuts really. But if you are in it for the long hall, then eventually you would do well. Provided you follow their plan and constantly build your down line up.

Many people want to know if it continues to expand would it keep going until I get filthy rich? Well this is what they say, but you have to build it up and remember that there will be an attrition rate of those who sign up and peter out, because they do not stick with the plan, of course this is where you come in, you must be a strong mentor.

Now then if we hit a slump in the economy, then perhaps more people will be out of work and this will mean more people staying at home with nothing to do, looking for something, with no cost or little costs to get in, easier to sign them up. MLMs do better in slow economies sometimes, although they do well when people have money to spend on the products too of course. Some MLM executives call them a recession proof business?
